More than 450 Bladon residents and supporters from further afield are now the proud owners of the White House, Bladon – a brilliant achievement by all who pulled together to save our pub!
This is the website for the Bladon Community Benefit Society, created at the launch of the fund-raising campaign to save the pub for the village. This site is continuing, to keep the society members abreast of developments and to raise awareness of capital works that still need to be addressed.

You can invest in a part of English village history (the pub dates back to the 1500s!) – meet fellow villagers, become part of a thriving village community!
To ensure the continued existence of a convivial and welcoming social hub, both for residents and our many visitors, it is vital that the property is maintained and upgraded, to redress the long periods of under-investment and neglect of previous owners. To maintain this precious village resource, the Society’s share offer remains open to new and existing shareholders.
