The Bladon Community Benefit Society will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 10th March 2026 at 7.30pm. As is the norm, the AGM will be held in the White House pub, and there will be a free drink for all shareholders in attendance.
The past year has seen another change of tenant, and we will be highlighting the changes that have been put in place by Mev Karaj and his team, as well as providing an update on the facilities improvements that we have completed in 2025. We will also give an update on the financial performance of the Society, as well as information on the projects we intend to tackle in 2026.
The rules of our Society specify that we need at least 10% of the membership to be present in order to be quorate. That equates to a minimum attendance of 52 shareholders, so please do make an effort to come along if possible. The AGM is for shareholders only, so the pub will be closed to the general public during the meeting, but the bar will remain open both during and after the meeting.
All the current members of the committee have expressed an interest to remain in post. If any shareholder would like to join the committee please email me at chair@bladoncommunitypub.org. Our Society rules dictate that we should have no more than 10 committee members. If this is exceeded we will take a vote at the AGM.
